Privacy Policy

The Summit AI Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than the usual thing.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or book a call, we collect your name, email address, business name and whatever you write in the message. When you book a paid assessment, our scheduling and payment providers also collect the information needed to process that booking.
Information collected automatically. Standard server logs from our hosting provider, and privacy-friendly website analytics provided by Plausible Analytics. Plausible records aggregate information only — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors came from, the type of device — and does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect or store any information that identifies you personally. We also record when visitors click a booking link, a phone number or an email address, and when a form is submitted, so we can tell which parts of the site are useful. Those records are counts, not individuals. We do not use any of this to build advertising profiles.
Information from an engagement. If you become a client, we will necessarily see information about your business processes and systems. That is governed by our engagement terms and any confidentiality agreement we sign, not by this policy.
What we do with it

- Keep records we are required to keep
- Understand, in aggregate, how the website is used
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you filled in a contact form.
Who else handles your information
We use third-party services to run the business, and information you give us may pass through them: our website host, our analytics provider (Plausible Analytics), our scheduling provider, our payment processor, and our email provider. Each has its own privacy policy. We choose providers that offer business-tier terms and we do not grant them rights to use your data for their own purposes.
Where we use AI services in delivering work, we use business-tier accounts with contractual terms excluding client data from model training.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies at all. We use no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party advertising pixels. Our analytics provider was chosen specifically because it works without them, which is why you have not been shown a cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.
If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect and a consent banner will appear where one is required.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to two years and then deleted. Client records are kept as long as required for business, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email seth@thesummitbk.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Texas residents have specific rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; we will honour requests under it regardless of whether we are strictly within scope.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information we hold, including access controls and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will tell you.
Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
